Saturday, September 11:  Fly from USA to arrive in Florence, Italy.

Sunday, September 12:  Take a taxi from the Florence airport to your hotel.  Meet the group in the afternoon.

Monday, September 13:  Take a walking tour of Florence including Santa Croce and Orsanmichele.  Optional cooking class in the evening.  

                             
Tuesday, September 14:  Enjoy the amazing Uffizi Museum in the morning.  Visit Michelangelo’s David in the afternoon.                                                                                                                                                                                    

Wednesday, September 15:  Travel to Naples on a fast train.  Check into your hotel and the visit Pompeii in the afternoon.

Thursday, September 16:  Today the group will take the boat to the beautiful island of Capri.  You will explore the sights of Capri and then go to Anacapri to visit the Villa San Michele with its captivating gardens and sea views.

Friday, September 17:  Drive along the Amalfi Coast with its spectacular views visiting the towns of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello by private car.

Saturday, September 18:  Today you leave Naples and travel to Rome on a fast train.  After checking into the hotel, take an afternoon tour of the Borghese Galleries.

Sunday, September 19:  Spend the morning in ancient Rome visiting the Colosseum and the ancient Forum.  Free time in the afternoon for shopping or sight-seeing.

Optional evening food tour in Trastevere.

Monday, September 20:  Enjoy a semi-private tour of the Vatican Museums including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.

Tuesday, September 21:  Fly home to USA.

Price of the tour:  $3498 in double occupancy.  $325 single supplement.

What the price includes:

8 nights in comfortable, well located hotels, 8 generous breakfasts, trains, private cars, taxis to Vatican, Colosseum, Borghese Galleries, semi-private tour of the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica, boat to Capri, guiding, and tips.

What is not included:

transfer to airport, airfare, lunches, dinners, private use of taxis, optional food tours.
