Gardens of Augustus, Capri
March 6, 2019: Depart USA for Italy.
March 7: Arrive Rome. Transfer by bus to Villa Vergiliana for lunch. Tour the ancient Greek and Roman city of Cumae. Continue by bus to Sorrento. Take a walking tour among the orange and lemon trees of this beautiful city overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Overnight Sorrento.
March 8: All-day tour in which you will discover the secrets of Pompeii, the city destroyed by Mt. Vesuvius in 79A.D. Overnight Sorrento.
March 9: Visit the ancient city of Herculaneum and climb Mt. Vesuvius, the volcano which destroyed it. Overnight Sorrento.
Ponte Vecchio, Florence
March 10: Transfer to the Renaissance city of Florence. Take a walking tour of the city including the Ponte Vecchio, Santa Croce, the Duomo, and much, much more. Overnight Florence.
March 11: Shopping opportunities in the morning or take a half-day tour of the town of Fiesole. For dinner participate in a hands-on authentic pizza and gelato cooking class taught by an Italian chef. Overnight Florence.
March 12: Morning tour of the Uffizi Galleries which contain many of the most famous works of the Italian Renaissance. Afternoon visit to the Accademia to see Michelangelo’s world-renown statue of David. Overnight Florence.
Roman emperors
March 13: Transfer to Rome. Tour the Colosseum, the Forum, and the Capitoline Museum. Overnight Rome.
March 14: All-day tour of the Vatican Museums including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. Afternoon walking tour of the city including the Pantheon and the Piazza Navona. Overnight Rome.
March 15: Fly home from Rome to Jackson, MS.

What this price includes: All museums, transportation, hotels, breakfasts and dinners, transfer to and from airport, travel insurance
What this price does not include: lunches and spending money.

A $500 down payment insures your place. Check to be addressed to Inside Italy and mailed to Inside Italy, 216 River Place, Jackson, MS 39211.
To reserve your spot, please fill out the forms on the Jackson Prep website under Student life, Beyond the Classroom and turn in or mail your deposit of $500 to Inside Italy Tours, 216 River Place, Jackson, MS 39211.
Cancellation policy:
This applies to cancellation for any reason (your choice, injury, health). Money may be refunded as long as your cancellation does not change the cost for other students. If you find a replacement, you will receive a full refund less $100 for name change fees.
If you cancel by January 1, you will receive a 50% refund.
If you cancel between December 1 and March 1, your refund will depend on the ability to get a replacement.
If you cancel after March 1, NO REFUND. At that date, it is too late to get a replacement.
If you are under disciplinary action at school (suspension, expulsion), you may not go on the trip and no refund will be given.
Number of students: maximum 15.
