Meet Patsy | Inside Italy Tours

Inside Italy Tours is owned and operated by Patsy Ricks who is more than happy to talk about her company. “The idea for the company,” says Patsy, “came from the fact that I have had so many requests to help people plan their trips and to accompany them during their Italian journeys. I have spent the last twenty years studying, touring and taking people to Italy. In fact, I know Italy like the back of my hand and speak Italian. What fun I have had putting Inside Italy Tours together.

What makes my tours different is that they are designed for a maximum of ten people who want to discover the real Italy. More like a group of friends than a tour, the participants will use public transportation and at times walk to the sights. The tours will stay in hotels that I know and love. The hotels are all air conditioned, charming, and some are downright luxurious. I will conduct the tours myself and tell you all the history and background in an interesting and humorous manner.Patsy Ricks

There is even an itinerary and traveling suggestions for those who would like to take along their children.

Patsy has 30 years experience as a teacher of Latin, Spanish, and Italian. She also teaches adult enrichment courses in Italian for travelers and wines (with a special emphasis in Italian wines, of course). For the past 20 years she has led student and adult trips to Italy. “My greatest pleasure is to share the wonders of Italy with others,” she often says. “Italy has something for everyone–art, food, wine, villas and gardens, romantic ruins, enchanted seas and mountains. What a pity we don’t have more than one life to enjoy these pleasures.”
