Arrive Rome and check into your hotel. Spend a restful day with walks and lunch in the hotel area.
Monday, October 19
Travel to Sorrento with a stop on the way for a pizza lesson. Afternoon tasting of Campanian wines.
Tuesday, October 20
Explore Sorrento and take a cooking lesson at the Ristorante Buco including eggplant Parmigiana, seafood pasta, and lemon dessert.
Wednesday, October 21
All day tour of the ancient Greek ruins in Paestum, a mozzarella farm, and the lovely town of Vietri and its pottery shops

Travel by train to Florence and enjoy a walking tour of the city.
Friday, October 23
Visit the Uffizi Galleries and the Accademia to see David.

Saturday, October 24
Travel to San Casciano and participate in a cooking and wine lesson with Elaine Trigiani.
Sunday, October 25
Visit a pasta maker, a winery, and an olive oil mill. Participate in an olive oil tasting.
Monday, October 26
Visit the towns of Loro Ciuffenna and Arezzo. Also visit a cheese maker.
Tuesday, October 27
Return to Rome and stroll through the ancient city.

Visit the Borghese Galleries, the world’s most perfect musuem, and tour the park.
Thursday, October 29
Visit the food markets to taste and purchase Italian specialties such as coffee, cheeses, porcini mushrooms, and sundried tomatoes. Spend the evening in the famous Piazzas.
Friday, 30
Return to USA
Price of trip: $4475 + single supplement. This price includes hotels, land transportation, museum fees, tips, breakfasts, 5 lunches, guiding services. The price does not include airport transfers, airfare, single supplement, personal use of taxis, some lunches, and dinners.
